GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTC)

ARTICLE 1 – PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”) govern all sales of products made through the website kneckesetcompagnie.com, operated by Kneckes & Compagnie, to any non-professional customer (hereinafter “the Customer”).

Placing an order on the website implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCTS

The products offered are those displayed on the website at the time of the order.
Each product is described as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in color, grain, engraving, or finish may occur, particularly due to the artisanal nature of the products.

Photographs are non-contractual.

ARTICLE 4 – PRICES

Prices are indicated in euros (€), including all applicable taxes (VAT).
Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are specified before order validation.

Kneckes & Compagnie reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but products are invoiced based on the prices in force at the time the order is placed.

ARTICLE 5 – ORDERS

Any order placed on the website constitutes a firm and final commitment once payment has been validated.

Kneckes & Compagnie reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a payment issue, incorrect address, or dispute with the Customer.

ARTICLE 6 – PAYMENT

Payment is due immediately upon ordering.
Accepted payment methods are those offered on the website at checkout (bank card, secure payment platforms).

All payments are processed through secure systems.

ARTICLE 7 – DELIVERY

Products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer at the time of ordering.

Delivery times are given for information purposes only and may vary depending on production time (especially for personalized products) and the carrier.

Kneckes & Compagnie cannot be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier.

ARTICLE 8 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with European regulations, the Customer has a 14-day withdrawal period from receipt of the order to request a return, without justification.

Returned products must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.

Return shipping costs remain at the Customer’s expense.

ARTICLE 9 – EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Personalized or custom-made products,

  • Products made to the Customer’s specifications,

  • Gift cards,

  • Promotional or sale items.

ARTICLE 10 – REFUNDS

Once the return is received and inspected, the Customer will be informed of the approval or rejection of the refund.

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

ARTICLE 11 – DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

The Customer must check the condition of the products upon delivery and report any defect or error immediately.

ARTICLE 12 – LIABILITY

Kneckes & Compagnie cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the products.

In any event, liability is limited to the amount of the order.

ARTICLE 13 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the website (texts, images, designs, logos) is the exclusive property of Kneckes & Compagnie and may not be reproduced without prior written authorization.

ARTICLE 14 – PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected is processed in accordance with applicable regulations and the Privacy Policy available on the website.

ARTICLE 15 – CONSUMER MEDIATION

In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may use a free consumer mediation service in case of dispute.
